The attraction of the K-Laser is that it is not ‘condition specific’ i.e. it has wide applications for use.

It is very safe, effective and non-invasive whilst delivering robust and accurate laser energy to accelerate healing to almost any part of the body.

The deep healing effects of the K-Laser technology has outperformed anything we have seen to date.

What is the K-Laser?

k-laser-3K-Laser is state of the art laser therapy, which effectively penetrates deep into damaged or injured tissue and initiates healing at a cellular level, allowing even more of our patients to return to normal or near normal daily activities with less or even no pain.

Decades of medical research have identified specific wavelengths of light which enhance and change cellular metabolism.

The K-Laser is currently the only laser available which targets damaged tissue with such specific and wide-ranging therapeutic wavelengths.

It incorporates:

  • Continuous and modulating pulse frequencies to promote pain control and healing.
  • Pulsed modes deliver energy into the deeper tissues without over-heating tissue.
  • Higher power – delivers an appropriate and specific therapeutic dose in a shorter treatment time, allowing it to be used alongside our chiropractic techniques, or treat multiple different damaged tissues simultaneously.
  • Protocols result in safe and consistent outcomes.

Much like photosynthesis in plants, light energy passes through tissue into the necessary cell membranes, initiating a process called photobiostimulation.

K-Laser therapy protocols enhance tissue bio-stimulation, analgesia, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial effects. It accelerates cell metabolism by increasing blood flow, oxygenation, nutrients, cell division and excretion of waste products.

Frequently asked questions:

How long are the treatments?

The typical K-Laser treatment is 4 to 6 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated, and the protocol being used.

Is this therapy covered by my medical insurance?

Please check with your individual policy. Many insurance companies don’t provide reimbursement for chronic or recurrent conditions. They may also not cover some therapies, despite their effectiveness.

How often should a patient be treated?

Acute conditions can be treated daily, particularly if they are accompanied by significant pain.
More chronic problems respond better with treatment 2-3 times a week initially, tapering to once a week or every other week, with improvements.

How many treatments will I need?

This depends on age, nature of condition, severity and lifestyle, as well as your individual healing capability.

For some acute conditions: 4-6 treatments may be sufficient.

More chronic conditions may require 6-12 (or more).
Some conditions e.g. arthritis, may require periodic supportive care to maintain the benefits.

When will I start feeling better?

Some people notice changes in their symptoms after only one treatment, however most people will start to notice changes in around three or four sessions: depending on age, nature & severity of the condition and your individual lifestyle. As treatment is cumulative, symptoms are often noticed to reduce with cellular transformation, however the condition will be improving from the early stages.

How long will the effects last?

When there is a marked reduction in pain, it will usually last up to 24 or 48 hours.

For acute cases, therapy is usually finished after the first treatment series

For chronic cases therapy may need to be administered monthly on an ongoing basis to maintain the results.

Can K-Laser be used with other forms of treatment?

Absolutely. Combining Laser with good chiropractic care has shown to increase the effectiveness of treatment, alternatively, it can be used as a stand-alone therapy.

Has effectiveness been scientifically demonstrated?

Yes, there are many published medical studies which demonstrate the effectiveness of laser therapy. Therefore, it took us months and months and months to review and research some of these papers, before deciding to even trial a K-Laser. For more research, please feel free to visit the K-Laser UK website, and look under the science section.

Based on our experience and the research, I truly believe that the K-Laser can make a difference to so many people. My hope is that everyone who can benefit will consider giving it a try.
