Your First Visit to Our Norwich Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

You’ll be warmly welcomed and guided through the simple steps of your first visit. Our clients often remark on our friendliness, thoroughness and efficiency (Please be assured you will not be rushed. If we find you need further time, we will advise and allocate this appropriately).

At the clinic, we have easy and secure access with onsite parking. The clinic location is easy to find and convenient to get to! There is a water cooler in reception for your convenience once you arrive.

You’ll often be greeted by Donna, Lorraine or Jeanette, where you will be invited to take a seat and complete some brief paperwork before meeting your chiropractor.

You will then be greeted by your chiropractor, and shown through into your consulting room. The purpose of the initial consultation is to determine if we can help. A full health history is taken, looking into past and present issues that may be related to the problem you are presenting with. We will do lots of listening.

NB. If claiming BUPA or PPP please check that your individual chiropractor is registered with your insurer.

The Chiropractic Assessment.

Chiropractic concerns itself with the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (primarily coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects health.

Sometimes the spinal bones can become misaligned or restricted, causing interference with impulses that travel between the brain and communicate with the rest of the body. Chiropractors refer to this as a vertebral subluxation. Chiropractors specialise in locating and correcting these spinal/joint restrictions, enhancing normal joint motion and nerve transmission.

We perform numerous Chiropractic, Neurological and Orthopaedic tests to obtain vital information about the function of your spine and nervous system. We have a state of the art computerised neuro-spinal screening examination, which helps to reveal imbalances in function.

If x-rays are clinically indicated, we have on-site facilities to do this for you. Once we have completed our examination, we will give you an indication if we feel we may be able to help you. If not, we will tell you this also, and give recommendations accordingly.

Your chiropractor will then take you to the front desk, where we will arrange for a seperate “Report of findings”. This will allow us to review your findings, and explain everything, answering your questions.
