Progress checks

Symptoms are the last thing to occur, and the first to go.

If you stop your care just when your syptoms improve, you may invite a relapse.

Periodically, throughout your care with us, we will carry out re-examinations to measure your progress in order to efficiently amend the schedule of your care. This will give us the opportunity to work together towards the same goals, and discuss and review the changes you have been making. We can them make any further recommendations for your care. From the intense frequency of your initial visits, we will be able to reduce the frequency of your visits as you improve, without sacrificing your continued progress, and continue to strengthen your spine.

Choices!!!

About this time, many people start to feel significantly better. They’re often tempted to discontinue their care. And of course, how long you benefit from chiropractic is always up to you. Please note that you are more likely to experience a symptomatic relapse if you discontinue your care before we have stabilised your spine and nervous system. This is part of the retraining process to create a stronger, more adaptable body.

The strengthening process is the second part of your care, after your pain has gone! Just like exercise, the more you do it, the stronger you get! Remember, you have choices – let us know how we can support your decision.
